The Process of Design

The first thing we tell our clients is that the relationship that we share with each of our clients is first and foremost. The client-designer relationship must be one that is based on honesty, mutual respect and trust. At Harmony Interiors we don’t rush into acquiring new clients and projects, unless it’s right for both parties. Therefore, we ask to meet first time clients in a neutral setting (coffee shop, showroom, etc.) so that can figure out if the client and the designer are a good fit for one another. We want clients to have a good sense of our working style and personalities at Harmony Interiors before signing anything. We want to build a relationship with you (and your family) over the years so that each time we return to your home, we can do a knockout job.
The second thing we tell all our clients is that design is a collaborative process. It is thoughtful, and it takes time and energy to reach the finished line. It’s a series of steps that we take together to try and discover what is truly the best outcome for the space and its users. We take the lead in setting deadlines, but the design process works best when everyone feels connected and are working towards the same goal.

Giving Back

As those who place such a high value on having a comfortable, safe and beautiful home, we feel a particular kind of empathy and compassion for those that simply do not have the means to create a space that they love. That is why 10% of the profits from Harmony Interiors goes into a special fund to help those in need with projects that they otherwise could simply not afford.
